Semen analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There should be 2\u20137 days, preferably<\/strong> 3\u20134 days<\/strong>, since the last ejaculation. The semen sample is collected in a private room by masturbation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before providing the sample, empty the bladder, wash your hands, and clean the penis with warm water and soap. If bringing the sample from home<\/strong>, it must arrive at the clinic within 30 minutes<\/strong> of collection. It is important to keep the container at body temperature<\/strong> (e.g., under the armpit or between the waistband and body).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blood tests<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Morning venous blood, fasting<\/strong> (we recommend drinking water beforehand).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Venous blood \u2013 can be taken regardless of eating or drinking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Venous blood, at least 24 hours since the last ejaculation (for PSA test)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Prostate secretion analysis (two-glass test)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There should be at least 3\u20134 days<\/strong> since the last ejaculation.
    The test includes rectal prostate massag, urine analysis, and prostate secretion examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Before coming for the test, the bladder should be moderately full \u2013 do not urinate for at least 2 hours<\/strong>.
    Beforehand, wash the penis (including under the foreskin) with warm water and soap at home, and dry it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    First-catch urine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Do not urinate for at least 4 hours<\/strong>, preferably use the first morning urine.
    Wash the foreskin and glans penis, and retract the foreskin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For the analysis, collect the first part<\/strong> of the urine stream, including the very first drops.
    Collect up to half of the container<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Midstream urine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Collect the middle part of the urine stream.
    Before collection, wash the foreskin and glans penis, and retract the foreskin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Urine flow rate + residual urine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For the urine flow measurement, please come with a moderately full bladder \u2013 do not urinate for at least 2 hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Transrectal prostate ultrasound<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is preferable to empty the bowel beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
