Peamine haigust p\u00f5hjustav komponent on A-gliadiin a-gliadiinide fraktsioonist. N\u00fc\u00fcd on leitud, et peamiseks antigeeniks on deamideeritud gliadiin, mis tekib kui ens\u00fc\u00fcm koetransglutaminaas 2 katal\u00fc\u00fcsib gliadiini koostises olevate glutamiini j\u00e4\u00e4kide deamideerimist glutamiinhappeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AGA IgA ja AGA IgG m\u00e4\u00e4ramist koos koetransglutaminaasi vastase IgA ja IgG m\u00e4\u00e4ramisega kasutatakse ts\u00f6liaakia s\u00f5eluuringuks. AGA IgA j\u00e4\u00e4b negatiivseks, kui patsiendil on IgA selektiivne puudulikkus, mille korral on v\u00e4ga oluline AGA IgG m\u00e4\u00e4ramine.
