HLA alleelid ei ole otseselt haiguste tekkimise p\u00f5hjuseks, vaid annavad eelsoodumuse nende v\u00e4ljakujunemiseks. HLA alleelide geenikomplekt on p\u00e4ritav ning elu jooksul see ei muutu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HLA-B*27 alleeli<\/strong> olemasoluga on seotud enam kui 100 haigust, k\u00f5ige tugevam riskiseos on leitud ank\u00fcloseeriva spond\u00fcliidiga. Teiste HLA-B*27 seoseliste haiguste seas on mitmed silma- ning s\u00fcsteemsed haigused, reaktiivne artriit (Reiteri s\u00fcndroom), p\u00f5letikulised soolehaigused ning psoriaatiline artriit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Euroopa populatsioonis on HLA-B*27 positiivsete indiviidide sagedus keskmiselt 8%.
