Koos raua m\u00e4\u00e4ramisega rauavaegusaneemia diagnoosimine ning eristamine kroonilise haiguse puhusest aneemiast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rauavaegusaneemiate korral on seerumi transferriinisisaldus suurenenud, kuid valk on v\u00e4hem k\u00fcllastatud rauaga (transferriini k\u00fcllastatus &lt; 16%), sest seerumi rauasisaldus on madal. Kroonilise haiguse korral, kui on h\u00e4iritud raua l\u00fclitumine er\u00fctrots\u00fc\u00fctide koostisesse, on tase referentspiirides v\u00f5i madalam, kuid valk on rauaga tugevasti k\u00fcllastatud (transferriini k\u00fcllastatus referentspiirides). Transferriini tase v\u00f5ib t\u00f5usta rauapreparaatide tarvitamisel, raseduse ajal ning suukaudsete rasestumisvastaste preparaatide tarvitamisel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Madalamad transferriini v\u00e4\u00e4rtused v\u00f5ivad olla tingitud s\u00fcnteesi v\u00e4henemisest (krooniline maksahaigus, vaegtoitumus), valgukaotusest (nefrootiline s\u00fcndroom, valgukaotuslikud enteropaatiad) v\u00f5i kroonilise haiguse aneemiast (infektsioonid, s\u00fcsteemsed sidekoehaigused, pahaloomulised kasvajad).
