To provide a comprehensive service, we have launched a physiotherapy service focused on male pelvic area issues at the Andrology Clinic centers in Tartu and Tallinn.
The purpose of physiotherapy is to alleviate the patient’s complaints. During physiotherapy, the patient's complaints and the factors causing or maintaining them are mapped.
The physiotherapist listens, assesses, discusses, and provides advice. Together with the patient, an approach is developed to alleviate the complaints. Physiotherapy at the TUH Andrology Clinic is based on the patient’s active participation in their own recovery process and relies largely on a home therapy program.
The need for pelvic physiotherapy is determined by the physician at the Andrology Clinic after evaluating the results of the patient's initial set of examinations. Without a referral, you may visit a physiotherapist for a paid consultation.
