Priit Perens, Chairman of the Executive Board
Priit Perens graduated cum laude from the University of Tartu in the specialty of Economic Cybernetics and has studied the Philosophy of Economics at the doctoral level at the University of Tartu. Since 2017, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Estonian Health Insurance Fund. He has been involved in Estonian banking since its inception, working in various positions. He was the CEO of Swedbank AS from 2008–2014, a member of the management of the Swedbank Group from 2015–2017, being responsible for Baltic Banking, and was the Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of Baltic subsidiaries. From 2017–2019, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of the Swedbank Group’s Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian banks.
Marek Seer, member of the Executive Board
Marek Seer graduated from Tallinn School of Medicine in the speciality of nursing science in 2002 and graduated Master studies in the speciality of administrative management in the Tallinn University of Technology. Marek Seer has worked in 2005–2008 as the head of emergency medicine department in the Health Care Board and he has been the director of Valga Hospital.
Dr Andres Kotsar, member of the Executive Board, Chief Medical Officer
Andres Kotsar graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu in the speciality of medicine in 1998, and internship and residency in the speciality of urology in 2004. 2004–2014 he worked as a urologist in the Hospital of the University of Tampere and defended Doctoral level degree in medicin in the University of Tampere in 2009. Dr Andres Kotsar has worked as the head of the department of urology and kidney transplantation of the Surgery Clinic of the University of Tartu, and also as associate professor of urology in the Institute of Clinical Medicine of the University of Tartu.
Maret Tark, member of the Executive Board, Chief Financial Officer
Maret Tark graduated from the Estonian University of Life Sciences in the department of business and business management in 1987. In 1980–1990 she was an engineer of Tartu Information and Computing Centre, in 1995–1998 the chief economist of Tartu Maarjamõisa Hospital, in 1999–2003 the director of Economics Department of the Tartu University Hospital, and since 2004 the director of the financial department. In 2009–2017 Maret Tark was a member of the Council of SA Eesti Tervishoiu Pildipank, since 2003 she has been a member of the Council of SA Tartu Kiirabi.
Kati Korm, member of the Executive Board, Chief Information Technology Officer
Kati Korm graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology of the University of Tartu. Kati Korm has worked in the hospital since 2003: as the project manager of information technology department, a system analyst, and as the head of the department of development.
