Patient Council
The Patient Council of Tartu University Hospital is a voluntary representative group of patients who provide input for the development of healthcare services and patient-centeredness. The Patient Council advises us in areas that affect patient satisfaction and makes proposals for solving issues that have arisen in the provision of healthcare services.
The first meeting of the Patient Council was held on October 3, 2019. The members of the council in 2025 are: Triin Paaver (Chairperson of the Estonian Patient Association), Mari-Liisa Parder (representative of the Estonian Patients’ Association), Janely Trahv (representative of the Estonian Association of Parents of Children with Cancer), Jüri Ginter, Annika Oja, Mae Alviste, Veronika Kruustik, Kitty Kubo. The hospital’s representatives on the patient council are Jane Freimann and Reet Tohvre.
Patient Council meetings are held once a month. If you have suggestions for topics or would like to participate in the work of the patient council, please let us know by email at patsientidenoukoda@kliinikum.ee.
